Cerner Revenue Cycle Project Manager

Full Time, contract opportunity for Healthcare IT Project Manager with a successful track record of Cerner Millenium revenue cycle implementations. This resource will be responsible for guiding the customer project team through the planning, design, and implementation of Cerner’s revenue cycle solution for acute care hospital and professional side. Must be willing to travel on-site to customer location Monday through Thursday. Engagement duration will be approximately six (6) months.

Job Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree required
• PMP Certification or comparable proven structured project management expertise.
• Minimum of five (5) years project management experience overseeing healthcare IT application implementations in medium to large scale organizations, utilizing PMI standards and industry best practices.
• Successful track record managing Cerner revenue cycle implementation projects
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams which include both technical and non-technical team members.

• Good understanding of revenue cycle operations in the areas of Scheduling, Patient Access, Patient Accounting, Health Information Management.
• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical data management,hospital cash flow management, performance reporting, and system integration within hospitals.
• Previous consulting or vendor implementation experience would be a plus
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship building, planning and implementation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate difficult or controversial discussions and drive to issue resolution.
• Willing to travel to the customer location on a weekly basis. Onsite Monday through Thursday.

Epic Bridges Analyst

Eclipse Healthcare Consulting is seeking an Epic Bridges Analyst for a FT 4 month contract position to supplement our hospital conversion team. We are looking for someone who knows Bridges well, can troubleshoot and resolve error messages, and has a good understanding of how various Epic applications work and interact with Bridges. The job will involve manipulating various data extracts and importing the data into Bridges. Must be Epic Bridges Certified. Position starts immediately.

Scope of job requirements and responsibilities includes:

• Familiar with HL7 message protocol across multiple Epic applications including ADT, scheduling, orders/results, transcription, clinical documentation, HIM, etc.
• Familiar with loading HL7 messages in Bridges using Epic flat file data loader
• Familiar with Epic interface error analysis and resolution using Epic documentation and tools
• Prior experience using these Epic tools to perform data conversions from other systems
• Some knowledge of Epic application processing (useful to make error analysis and resolution go faster); includes ADT, scheduling, orders/results, transcription, clin doc, HIM, etc.

• Some knowledge of Epic INI files, interface tables, and category lists, as they pertain to interface data mapping

• Able to reliably deliver results under a TIGHT project timeline
